Privacy policy
Last updated September 3, 2026.
Template, not legal advice. This describes how the site actually behaves as built. Have a lawyer review it before relying on it, particularly if you begin handling client data on behalf of others.
Who this covers
Cox & Co Systems, a sole proprietorship based in New Braunfels, Texas, operating coxcosys.com. You can reach Cox & Co at kaci@coxcosys.com or 512-522-6123.
What this site collects
Analytics
This site uses Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and does not collect or store personal data. It records aggregate counts: pages viewed, referring site, country, and device type. It does not follow you across other websites, does not build a profile of you, and does not set any cookie. No consent banner is shown because none is required for this kind of measurement.
Forms
When you submit a form, Cox & Co receives what you typed: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, business name, website, budget range, and message. This is delivered to the business email and may also be stored in the automation platform Cox & Co use to track enquiries. It is used to reply to you and to keep a record of our correspondence. That is the entire purpose.
Spam protection
Forms include a hidden field that automated submitters tend to fill in, and a bot-detection widget. Both look only at submission behaviour. Neither profiles you or tracks you elsewhere.
Server logs
The web server records standard request logs including IP address, timestamp, and requested page. These are used for security and diagnosing faults, and are retained for a short period.
What Cox & Co does not do
- Cox & Co does not sell your information, and there is no arrangement under which Cox & Co could.
- Cox & Co does not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- Cox & Co does not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.
- Cox & Co does not add you to a mailing list. If you do not hear back from Cox & Co, you will not hear from Cox & Co at all.
- Cox & Co does not use exit-intent popups or any other interruption designed to extract your details.
Third parties that necessarily see data
Running a website means some services handle data on the business’s behalf. Currently these are the hosting provider (serves the pages, keeps request logs), the email delivery service (delivers form submissions), the analytics provider (aggregate, cookieless), and the bot-protection provider. Each handles data only to provide its function.
How long it is kept
Correspondence is kept as long as there is a plausible reason to refer back to it, and removed on request. Analytics data is aggregate and contains nothing identifying you. Server logs are short-lived.
Your choices
You can ask Cox & Co what is held about you, ask Cox & Co to correct it, or ask Cox & Co to delete it. Email kaci@coxcosys.com and it will be actioned and confirmed. There is no form and no process to navigate. If you are in a jurisdiction granting you specific data rights, those rights apply and Cox & Co will honour them.
Text messages
If you text the business number, or if an automated reply is sent to a call you placed, standard message rates apply and you can stop the conversation at any time by replying STOP. Numbers are used to respond to you and are not used for marketing campaigns.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the substance of the change will be described here rather than quietly swapped.
